Aunt Sherrie
Hello, My name is Aunt Sherrie. I am the owner of Aunt Sherrie's Preschool! I opened this preschool in 2019, I also have an in-home daycare:). I have been in childcare for over 30 years. I opened both of childcare places to be able to be available for families that need a trusting loving place for their children to grow in. I love being a part help of your support system in assisting with your child's growth. At home I have lots of animals including chickens, sheep, cats and dogs.
I have 5 grown kids and love spending time with my grandchildren.
Linda
Hi! I am Miss Linda. I am Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool Director. I have been in the childcare field for the past 15 years. Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool is an amazing facility for your child to grow up in. From toddlers to kindergarten age, we thrive to be family oriented and to have our children be safe and learning every day. I love meeting new families and introducing them to our staff and routines of our preschool. Outside of the preschool, I enjoy hanging out with my little family doing anything to enjoy being outside.

Hello! My name is Miss Renae and I am a Toddler Teacher here at Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool. My classroom is full of hands-on learning. We use lots of sensory activities, from slime to colored rice bins that help us learn about the world around us. Outside of work I love being just as crafty, enjoying things like sewing, crocheting, and painting.
Julie
Hi, I am Miss Julie and I am currently a teacher in the preschool room working with children aged 2-3 years of age. I have been working with children for 11 years and have worked with children of all ages. I have worked at Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool for a year now. Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool is a great environment not only as a workplace, but also because of the care that is provided for the children. I have a 3-year-old that attends, who loves her teachers and has learned so much over the year of being enrolled at Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool.
Mariela
Hello, my name is Mariela! A few of my hobbies are going to concerts, watching movies and going on walks. Aunt Sherrie’s has a wonderful environment whether that’s the reliable and caring coworkers or the awesome kiddos. Currently I am in the young preschool classroom with the kiddos ages 2-3. I love seeing their minds work, and how they connect concepts. It’s also wonderful to see how silly and creative they are.
Jessica Lee
My name is Jessica Lee. I’ve been teaching at Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool since June of 2021 and working with children since 2015. I love working with the babies and toddlers. Children change so much in the first three years of life and it’s very fulfilling to me to be able to guide them in their journey and development.
In my classroom, I love to do sensory activities like using textured paint or taste-safe foam, dramatic play that practices life skills, and art where children can freely discover and express themselves in the messy way they love! Communication starts developing around toddler age, so I love to also incorporate baby sign language during all our activities and play throughout the day.
When I’m not taking care of the little ones at work and if I’m not reading, gardening or cooking, my husband and I love to take our dog Hollie out for walks at the Afterbay or play fetch with her favorite ball.
