Healthy Growth and Development for Toddlers
As your baby starts to grow and take their first steps, you will soon enter the exciting and sometimes challenging world of toddlerhood. Toddlers are full of energy, curiosity, and wonder, and at Aunt Sherrie's Preschool in Oroville, CA, we understand the unique needs of this age group. We provide a comprehensive toddler program designed to nurture your child's natural curiosity and encourage healthy growth and development.
The early years are crucial for a child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Our toddler program is carefully designed to support this growth by providing a safe and stimulating environment for exploration and discovery. Our experienced teachers understand the unique needs of toddlers and create a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and encourages hands-on learning. We believe learning should be fun and engaging for young children, and we strive to provide an environment that fosters a love of learning.
"The Sensory and Milestone Era" Miss Nayla's Class
Our program for toddlers 18 months - two years is a vibrant world of discovery. We understand that toddlers learn best through their senses, so our days are filled with hands-on sensory play- from textured art projects to water and sand exploration- that builds essential brain connections. Beyond play, we focus on the foundational "big kid's skills,' of toddlerhood. We are proud to partner with families during the potty-training journey, providing the patience and consistency your child needs to reach this major milestone with confidence.
"Safe to Explore" - 2–3-year-olds Miss Renae's Class

Our days are filled with development and social interaction. We provide a sensory-rich environment where toddlers can explore hands- on activities that build fine motor strength and problem-solving skills. Understanding that this is a pivotal time for potty training, our teachers provide a supportive, encouraging atmosphere to help your child navigate this transition successfully, ensuring they feel proud of every new skill they learn.
