In our 3-5 year old classrooms, we believe that children are natural researchers. Our comprehensive curriculum encourages students to ask, "Why" and "How' through a mix of intentional instruction and hands on projects. We cover a broad spectrum of developmental areas- including social skills, creative arts, and physical coordination to provide a wide range of education. Our goal is to foster your child's growing mind, and to have them ready for their next adventures when going from our program to Kindergarten.

With in our Preschool program we have 3 classes divided into age groups to be able to focus on your child's development

At Aunt Sherrie's Preschool we provide a seamlessly educational journey for children from 18 months- 6 years of age. Our program is built on the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, loved and inspired. From the milestones of toddlerhood and potty training to the academic milestones of kindergarten readiness, we offer comprehensive, curriculum based approach rooted in hands-on sensory play, by blending a secure, facility with an active presence in the local community, we don't just teach children- we nurture future leaders in a space where they are truly safe to explore and grow.

My name is Jessica Lee. I’ve been teaching at Aunt Sherrie’s Preschool since June of 2021 and working with children since 2015. I love working with the babies and toddlers. Children change so much in the first three years of life, and it’s very fulfilling to me to be able to guide them in their journey and development.

In my classroom, I love to do sensory activities like using textured paint or taste-safe foam, dramatic play that practices life skills, and art where children can freely discover and express themselves in the messy way they love! Communication starts developing around toddler age, so I love to also incorporate baby sign language during all our activities and play throughout the day.

When I’m not taking care of the little ones at work, and if I’m not reading, gardening, or cooking, my husband and I love to take our dog Hollie out for walks at the Afterbay or play fetch with her favorite ball.

Hello, my name is Miss Lexi. Currently I am a teacher in the preschool classroom here at Aunt Sherrie's Preschool. In the classroom, I like to plan activities that help to cultivate children's minds to flourish in their own creative ways. It'll be hard to find a day where we aren't doing arts and crafts or a silly project. I like to focus on communication with peers, emotional self-regulation, and building self-esteem for kids to enter kindergarten as their best selves. Outside of work I enjoy gardening, playing with my dog, reading, and watching old movies with my husband.
